“Kept Austin Weird” pays tribute to those venues that made Austin cool. Some places are still hanging on. Others have gone to make way for new development. Has time run out to preserve Austin’s character? Or, has the Austin that I knew gone up in smoke? Dammit! Huts Hamburgers? Frank and Angie’s? I wonder if the dinosaurs felt this way too.
